If you are looking to hit the beach(not the Inlet) in New Smyrna for an uncrowded set and get some waves, you have no way to check it. Enter this blog. I am up early every day taking my son to school and always stop and check the surf around 3rd ave.and normally take a picture. I am dedicating myself to you the surfer and this blog. I will post that picture here along with what i see. I may give updates through out the day as well if there is significant change in the waves. Hope it helps.

Surf Report New Smyrna Beach 5/12 @ 8:00 a.m.

Good morning everyone. Small little wave out there today, enough to get wet over if need be. Tomorrow morning will be the last report for a week as I will be in El Salvador. I apologize for the inconvenience. When I get back I will post pics and have a full spread on the resort I will be staying at " Mizata Point Resort". Have a great day.
