Surf Report New Smyrna Beach

3/5 @ 6:40 a.m.

Good morning everyone. I would like to thank all of you who continue to visit this site and I hope it helps. If you guys and gals have any suggestions please leave them in the comments and I will address them. I will probably start adding an update around 3 every day after I pick up my son from school.
It's still a little foggy out there, but it's visible. It's warm and getting warmer starting to feel like summer. It is glassy with no wind this morning but the swell is not looking to good, only in the thigh range maybe good for a long board. The moon was full last night which always brings the tide way up and makes everything a little deep. Happy hunting today, I will be at the inlet.

Size: 1-2 ft. Thigh - soft    Swell: E medium period @ 10 sec.  Wind: Calm 1mph W off shore

Surf rule of the day: You get more waves when you respect the locals.

Question of the day: What is a good destination for someones first surf trip?
